Story world packs are the structured source material behind Arctale works: premise, roles, openings, style rules, safety boundaries, and entry assets. They help an AI-native interactive fiction reader produce consistent branching lines, and they give creators a reviewed path for submitting story worlds without automatic publication.
What a pack contains
Arctale treats each work as a prepared fiction system, not a blank prompt. A good pack gives the model enough structure to act like the work's director while the reader sees novel-like story text.
- World rules and genre promise.
- Role choices and opening situations.
- Narrative tone, visible state, and safety boundaries.
- Entry assets such as HTML, CSS, and cover imagery.
Why creators matter
AI can reduce the marginal cost of branching text, but it cannot replace taste, pacing, premise selection, and emotional hooks. Creator submissions give Arctale more high-quality worlds to review and polish.
How submissions should be described
Creators submit structured setting packs for review. Submissions are not automatically published as finished works.
